MacroFactor Affiliate Program vs the Nutrola Creator Code: Terms Compared (September 2026)
Published · Facts checked · By Nutrola Creator Program Team
In short
- MacroFactor pays 40% of a referred user's first payment ($28.80 on a yearly plan), once. Nutrola pays 20% of the price paid ($8 on its $39.99 US yearly plan) on the first payment and every renewal, with no cap.
- MacroFactor publishes audience minimums (10,000 Instagram, 20,000 TikTok, 5,000 YouTube, with exceptions); Nutrola has no follower minimum.
- Both use a code typed in the app at sign-up. MacroFactor's extends the follower's trial to 14 days; Nutrola's gives the follower an in-app welcome bonus.
- MacroFactor is affiliate-only for people who already use the app; Nutrola's code can stand alone or sit on top of a paid deal for reels, and creator accounts get Premium before filming.
- On one yearly subscriber who never renews, MacroFactor pays more. On monthly plans, on renewals and for creators under MacroFactor's minimums, the Nutrola code is the stronger structure.
MacroFactor and Nutrola are the two nutrition apps whose creator terms you can read in full without emailing anyone, and they are built on opposite principles: MacroFactor pays a large share of one payment, Nutrola pays a smaller share of every payment. This guide puts the two side by side from their own pages, says plainly where each is stronger, and ends with who should pick which.
Nutrola runs one of the programs discussed here. Every figure about another program is quoted from that company's own page or its affiliate-network listing, linked under Sources, as checked on 17 September 2026. Terms change; check the source before you rely on a number.

Where is MacroFactor's program stronger?
- The first payout is bigger. $28.80 against $8.00 on a yearly subscriber. If your audience converts once and churns, MacroFactor pays more per head, and it is not close.
- The terms are exact. The page states the dollar amounts per plan, the payout day and the minimums. There is nothing to negotiate and nothing to guess.
- The follower perk is concrete. A trial doubled from 7 to 14 days is easy to explain in a caption.
Where is the Nutrola code stronger?
- It keeps paying. Every renewal and every monthly rebill pays 20% again. A monthly subscriber who stays six months pays you $12 under the Nutrola code and $4.80 under MacroFactor's program; a yearly subscriber who renews three times pays $32 against $28.80. The full comparison of the two structures is here.
- No minimum. MacroFactor's published thresholds exclude most creators under 10,000 Instagram or 20,000 TikTok followers unless they qualify for an exception. Nutrola looks at your recent reels instead, and several of its current creators have under 5K followers.
- It works with paid deals, not instead of them. MacroFactor's page describes an affiliate program. Nutrola's offers can be a fee for your reels or for files you film, with the code on top, decided per creator and put in writing before you film.
- Any platform. Both codes are typed in the app, so both work from anywhere. Nutrola's program is also open in 20 languages, which matters if you post in German, Spanish, Turkish or Portuguese.
- You are given the product. MacroFactor requires that you already use the app. Nutrola sets your account up with Premium first, so the reel can show the scan working properly.
What does the same audience pay you under each program?
Suppose 20 of your followers subscribe yearly and 10 subscribe monthly, and take two renewal cases. The table uses each program's own figures; it is arithmetic, not a forecast.
| Scenario | MacroFactor | Nutrola code |
|---|---|---|
| Year one, all 30 pay once; monthly subscribers stay 4 months on average | 20 x $28.80 + 10 x $4.80 = $624 | 20 x $8 + 10 x 4 x $2 = $240 |
| Year two, if 1 in 5 yearly subscribers renew and monthly subscribers are gone | $0 | 4 x $8 = $32 |
| Year two, if 1 in 2 yearly subscribers renew and half the monthly subscribers are still paying | $0 | 10 x $8 + 5 x 12 x $2 = $200 |
The figures in the tables are arithmetic on stated assumptions, not earnings claims. What a code pays you depends on your audience, your content and the app's own prices in your followers' countries.
Two honest conclusions. First, on a fixed group of subscribers, MacroFactor's larger first payment is hard to catch unless renewals are strong or your audience prefers monthly plans. Second, the comparison above assumes both apps convert your audience equally, which no table can tell you: MacroFactor's yearly plan costs roughly $72 at the rate its page implies, Nutrola's costs $39.99, and the cheaper subscription is a smaller ask of the same follower. The number that decides your income is subscribers times payout, and only your own audience can supply the first factor.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose MacroFactor if you clear its minimums, you already use and like the app, your audience is the kind that buys a $72 tracker, and you value a large, exact one-time payout over a stream.
- Choose the Nutrola code if you are under MacroFactor's thresholds, you post in a language other than English, you want a paid deal for your reels as well as a code, or you want to be paid for as long as the subscribers you brought in keep paying rather than once.
- Do not stack two calorie trackers on one profile without asking both. Programs differ on exclusivity, and your audience will not thank you for two codes. Disclose every paid partnership as your platform and country require, including a code you earn from.
If the second list is you, apply here. The code pays the same 20% recurring rate for everyone who has one; the fee, if any, is set for your account and put in writing before you film.
Frequently asked questions
How much does MacroFactor pay affiliates?
MacroFactor's affiliate page states 40% of the referred user's first payment: $4.80 for a monthly subscriber, $19.20 for a six-month subscriber and $28.80 for a yearly subscriber, paid by PayPal on the first of the month after the conversion. It does not pay on renewals. Checked September 2026.
How much does the Nutrola creator code pay?
20% of the subscription price the subscriber paid, on the first payment and again on every renewal or monthly rebill, for as long as the code is live. At Nutrola's US prices that is $8 per yearly payment and $2 per monthly rebill; local and discounted prices pay proportionally. There is no cap and no follower minimum.
Can I be an affiliate for both MacroFactor and Nutrola?
Each program sets its own rules; MacroFactor says it partners only with people who already use and like MacroFactor, and Nutrola sets deal terms per creator and puts them in writing. Ask both before promoting two calorie trackers to the same audience, and disclose paid partnerships on every post as your platform and country require.
